Here at Pet Rescue, we aren’t just people providing you with the best medicine available for your pet, but we are animal lovers and owners that can connect with our customers on a very personal level through animals. We show our love and passion of animals by our motto: “A pets before profit pharmacy”. This means that we will donate all profits to a shelter or rescue that you choose anywhere in the United States. The owners of Pet Rescue are brothers Scott and Glenn Buckley. While growing up in Akron New York, the two were surrounded by the love and comfort that animals brought. Although the duo come from different backgrounds, Glenn being a vet and Scott being a computer technician, both have come together on the same idea. This idea is to leave the world a better place than they found and to make a difference in the lives of animals, one animal at a time.
Glenn Buckley, DVM
Pet Rescue Rx, CEO/Owner
My love for animals started at a young age growing up in Akron, NY where the pharmacy is located. I was very fortunate to be given the opportunity to attend Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in order to fulfill my dream. My career of practicing veterinary emergency medicine has been very rewarding but I felt that I could do more. My thoughts kept returning to the shelters where I have volunteered as time allowed and the recurring need for additional funding was always there.
Pet Rescue Rx, President
Growing up in Akron New York, Scott Buckley was surrounded by the love and compassion animals and pets bring. In earlier years, Scott attended Akron public school and later Buffalo State College to pursue a career in the information technology field. Although Scott owns his own business, Interweb Technology Group with his wife Patty, he wanted to help his brother and owner of Pet Rescue, Glenn Buckley pursue his goal of helping animal shelters while providing pet medicine. Scott has a special relationship with pet shelters and is supportive which was shown when he adopted a young, ill, and abandoned kitten that he nursed back to health. Scott has a wife, Patty, a son, Ryan, a daughter, Emily and three pets. A dog, Teddy, and two cats, Chip, who was adopted from the Wyoming County Animal Shelter, and Stella, who Scott found in Akron Falls Park.
